Working Online At Home Is Just Like Any Other Job
Working online at home is just like any other job. You have to do it everyday and you have to work long and hard. The upside is that unlike other jobs you can pretty much earn whatever as your earning potential is unlimited. If you want to earn more you just put more stuff out there and if you do it right, it works for 24/7. In the short run though let me tell you, it’s a long hard journey to get the infrastructure which will support the growth.
Fortunately there are lots of opportunities on the Internet which will allow you to earn a part time or full time income. Some of them take skill and knowledge and others just require a fair bit of dogged determination. There are a lot of scams out there so be careful. Anything which says you can earn a few thousand dollars a week simply by “plugging into a system” is more than likely a bit suspect.
If you know how to type you can make a bit of cash writing for other people. If you know how to design websites with popular free CMS’s like Joomla or WordPress you can make money with those. You may not even have to know how to design with them as you can simply buy a theme and a domain and set up a website relatively cheaply. Then you can easily sell these on Ebay or your own site. Some people make a lot of money doing just that.
If you don’t have much money and want to learn how to effectively use free systems to make a buck you can have a look at one of my favorite authors. It’s called the One Week Marketing Plan and it rocks. She doesn’t charge the earth and what she teaches you can literally make you a few thousand each month by using a few simple systems and all of them are free.
This is a blog about my continuing adventure as a newbie Internet Marketer. I’ve personally started this journey using the system above and can’t recommend it highly enough. That’s not to say that you should use them as well but for a new kid on the block who knew zilch about this business they were a great stepping stone and didn’t break my bank. There’s a lot to learn and a long way to go but I’ve been told by many people that the only way to fail is to quit. I hope you enjoy my ramblings and visit often as each time I try something or make progress I will be writing about it here. Cheers and good luck with your journey.

Marketing like crazy is a brilliant suggestion – but money does run out quickly – especially in the beginning when every cent counts. What makes it more difficult is that you do not know what medium works for you.

Thank you for another insightful post! As a new prof-o-blogger, I find commenting tips helpful. It is sometimes hard to find the time to comment, but I fully intend to put your advice to the test this fall. Thanks!
I decided to look around your site more and one of the best ways to build loyalty is to offer free content like you do here. I appreciate your site and your helpfulness.
Great article. Although you are correct it is difficult to break into this market, I believe the biggest problem is that most people don’t know enough of the fundamentals to make an impact anyway. we need to find those untapped niches or focus on the long tail to carve out our little slice of a certain market.
Hey. I don’t normally leave comments, but I just wanted to say thanks for the great information. I have a blog too, thoughI don’t write as good as you do, but if you want to check it out here it is. Thanks again and have a great day!
One of the basic understandings we can distinguish is that merchandising is all about grabbing attention and acting upon the decision. Marketing is not just filling demand, its also about yielding demand. Now we can see, internet takes a lot of purchasers time, marketing firms are targeting any and every on-line section.
I think that one of the real difficulties people face when going online, especially in the current economic climate, is the need to stay focused and upbeat. It is easy to get distracted by the next great marketing scheme. And, it is easy to get discouraged when early efforts do not pay off. You have to stay motivated and keep plugging away.
I know what you mean. I like building websites and time flies when I do that side of my business. But when it comes to link building and writing articles I find that I watch the clock just like if I was sitting in an office in a J.O.B. It’s soooooooo boring but it has to be done. Unfortunately it’s probably about 90% of the whole online game so if you can’t stick with it you’re doomed.
